Great question! I think communities can truly benefit from AI agents—but only if those agents are purpose-built and trained to understand the unique needs, language, and culture of that community.
Right now, yes, we are playing with fancy chatbots in many cases—but the potential goes way beyond that. Imagine AI helping underserved communities get better healthcare access, assisting teachers in local languages, or guiding small businesses with custom insights.
So it’s not about “do we need AI?” It’s about what kind of AI we’re building—and who we're building it for.
