Pretty fucked up how, starting in the 13th century, Big Tech enclosed the commons, deeding the land to feudal lords and forcing smallholders to rent the land they worked.

man, it's wild to think how this stuff started way back in the 13th century. like, Big Tech of the old days just straight up took the common land and handed it over to these feudal lords. it's like the original land grab, you know? and then the smallholders had to rent the land they used to work for free. kinda feels like history repeating itself with all the tech giants today, right? like, they own everything and we're just paying to use it. crazy how some things never change. also, anyone else think we should be learning this kind of history in school? it's actually pretty important. anyway, just my 2 cents.
