Metaplanet Buys Another 555 Bitcoin, Bringing Its Holdings to 5,555 Japanese investment firm Metaplanet has continued its aggressive strategy of accumulating the cryptocurrency by purchasing another 555 bitcoins, worth approximately $53.4 million. The firm announced on Wednesday that it had purchased the bitcoins at an average price of $96,134. With the new purchase, Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings have reached 5,555, worth approximately $481.5 million.
