Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson announced that the integration of the project’s blockchain network with the Brave Wallet is the first step in a series of partnerships to revitalize the Cardano ecosystem.

The partnership, led by Brave Software and Input Output Global (IOG), will give Brave’s 86 million monthly users direct access to the Cardano blockchain to participate in governance, exchange tokens, and manage Cardano’s native assets.

Hoskinson, in a post on Platform X, called the move the beginning of a “broken window” initiative, adding that dozens of similar integrations are on the way for the ADA token and other native assets. He also noted Cardano’s shift toward a more open development model.
