Interesting! USDC closes gap with USDT Over the past week, $5 billion worth of USDC tokens have been minted, and in total in 2025 - $8 billion. Even though USDT's market capitalization is still more than twice that of USDC, the latter is actively minting coins thanks to the popularity of memcoins on Solana.

Solana introduced a new hashing system called SIMD-0215, which aims to improve network scalability. This new method allows each block to contain a hash of all accounts, not just those that were changed. Accounts Lattice Hash uses homomorphic hashing, which simplifies calculations without having to recalculate the entire hash. This initiative is aimed at optimizing account verification and increasing the speed of the Solana network.
