What are your favorite cold/flu season remedies and repellents? Some of mine: - multivitamin - regular sleep - sunshine when possible - regular exercise (stop if sick) - tumeric x black pepper x ginger shot

I love that you’re doing this, Elad. Looking forward to 1984 discussion takeover here in 1-2 weeks (or however long it takes for everyone to finish reading).

Wild that the same beans can taste totally different depending on the preparation. Treated myself to a weekend french press of our usual weekday bean (weekday prep is the percolator or pour over) and it was a delicious surprise!

I did a thing! First live, in-person demo of the CodeYam software simulator to review code changes in a PR at the Boulder AI Builder Meetup! https://open.substack.com/pub/codeyam/p/first-live-demo-of-the-codeyam-software?r=bukb&utm_medium=ios

Seriously delicious. Not pictured: the chardonnay that convinced me I might not actually hate *all* chardonnay (just most).

Oh I totally forgot Avatar: The Last Airbender! That would be up there for me. AD just missed my list cut as well.

🚀 excited to share our first demo of the CodeYam software simulator in action! This should be a familiar workflow to anyone on a software development team: reviewing a pull request. I always feel a mix of excitement (we're shipping an improvement!) and concern (what if I missed a bug? what if things break?) when our team ships something new. Software simulation makes understanding and testing a change fast and easy making it easy to feel confident (and unconcerned) about each new change. There is something so magical about seeing how new code changes impact the product and user experience - at any point in the development process, including while reviewing a PR. But don't take my word for it -- watch the demo! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_5Yb6EehFRY

While this survey was small-scale (40 respondents who currently code and 55 respondents overall), we noticed some interesting results answering questions like: 1. What languages are developers primarily using today? 2. How are developers using AI today to code? 3. What did ChatGPT "think" about our survey results?

In December 2023, we conducted a survey with a goal of hearing from developers and their collaborators. Two weeks ago, I asked if anyone was interested in an aggregated, anonymized version of the results. 100% of you answered "Yes!" so I wrote this to share learnings.

In today's writing experiment, I dig into the product stack. I cover observations on how to build your product stack and evolve it depending on your product, team, stage, and users. And why I'm excited for the future as AI begins to impact productivity and product development more. https://bit.ly/product-stack

As an experiment, I'll be open-sourcing more of my ideas and learnings in a personal blog. For today’s post, the core question I'm focusing on is: How Will AI impact software development, products, and teams? Read it here: https://bit.ly/AI-impact-on-software

All questions should also be optional now so it’s as short/long as desired.

As a founder with a product (but not design) background it’s less that it feels more unapproachable and more that my team needs me to do other things more so I can’t easily invest the time I want for the ROI to be worth it.
