When I joined Farcaster and considered building on top, I saw I had to pay for neynar and immediately dismissed all this as yet another crypto scam. Glad to see a free tier released and hoping it brings you more business!

Tip: For vibe coders, what I’ve learned so far is that it’s still important to pay attention to the command line and learn how to use it. I’m not an expert, but I figured I could just ask the AI editor how to use the command line when needed.

As a former Googler, I know what you mean. I was recruiting outside Google, and I could tell which hiring managers didn’t like the name-dropping. My best guess is that they didn’t get in, or didn’t like the company. To be honest I don’t really like name-dropping it much either, but my observation is that it denotes credibility in some circles. Also, people are generally proud of their work.
