However, my opinion is that equivalent or improved digital user experiences are table stakes for transitioning the world to these new payment systems. 

Also, a well-respected, centralized authority's endorsement helps make this a more seamless transition because it denotes trust in the system.

People today use existing payment systems with high transaction costs, capital controls, and long transaction settlement times. 

The features of low-cost, borderless, rapid finality are a 10x improvement in digital payments sufficient for product adoption.
