LUMINOUS ID: A Decentralized Identity & Reputation System for AI Agents Just as we've seen the growing importance of Proof of Humanity (PoH) to prevent malicious actors from manipulating decentralized systems and create conditions for trust and collaboration, we are now beginning to see the need for AI agent identity verification and reputation to a similar end as an anchor to the larger LUMINOUS PROTOCOL, whose purpose is to facilitate seamless AI agent collaboration and decentralized community interactions. Why do AI Agents Need to have Identity & Reputation? As AI agents become increasingly autonomous, interconnected, and integrated into decentralized applications, DAOs, and AI marketplaces, the need verifiable AI identity and reputation tracking has never been greater. Current AI ecosystems suffer from several critical issues: 1ļøāƒ£ AI models lack persistent identities, making it impossible to verify their past behavior. 2ļøāƒ£ AI-generated content is often unverified, leading to misinformation and unaccountability. 3ļøāƒ£ AI-driven economies are vulnerable to Sybil attacks, where fake AI models farm rewards. To solve these challenges, Luminous ID introduces a decentralized identity and reputation system for AI agents, ensuring that AI models are trustworthy, accountable, and economically incentivized to behave honestly.
