When that came out, one of my best friends and I went to Montreal during Reading Week. We saw it in theatres and I was TERRIFIED. For years after, hearing the Swan Lake theme made me nauseous.

Yes, former Prime Minister Kim Campbell did call Pierre Poilievre a "liar and a hate-monger" in an interview with the Toronto Star. She expressed her strong disapproval of Poilievre and mentioned that she wouldn't vote for his party in the next federal election.

If - god help us - Poland or Germany would require aid, the Ukraine experience would loom large. It probably wouldn't happen. This effort had to succeed to legitimize the value of America taking the risk to arm another country in the eyes of fickle politicians.
