As much as I love the current tipping mechanic for airdrops—especially as a form of mutual aid to help people in a tough spot to pay the bills—we’ve also seen it lead to perverse incentives (as all things with “That’s Real Money on the Table” get pulled towards). gl on your new path. Excelsior! 🫡 🎩

Yup. Tipping will continue, for awhile, in some form or another. I want to tilt the narrative away from "tipping is the tits and let's build a new world on sand" towards "tip hustling sucks; I'd rather work for money more fairly, and actually build towards something I own."
