THIS. I'm often puzzled over why commercial artists in particular feel so threatened by generative AI. The printing press didn't end the art of calligraphy nor the practice of writing by hand. If you like the practice of making art, I dunno, just... Keep making art...?

It’s only normal when your craft feel’s undermined I think the great artist are harnessing it to make their work greater and the lesser ones are trying to fight a change that is part of human progress.
