Uploading GIFs works (at least on iOS and desktop, not sure about Android), and media URLs ending in .gif should embed and render properly, too.

Oh, and Imgur is used as the default image hosting, so GIFs are limited to 10 or 15 MB, I can't remember which.

I *think* bigger GIFs will embed from .gif URLs, but I haven't tested it.

Thanks for the heads up! Do you know the files size limitations for gifs here?

I don't think it works on Android yet. I tried to post one earlier, and it didn't move, lol.
