Haha. It’s essentially an airdrop reward for putting up some $DEGEN and Base ETH into a liquidity pool for ETH <=> $DEGEN swaps on /uniswap.

The ELI5 version is, if you can park a good chunk of $DEGEN and ETH (say, 20k DEGEN + matching value in ETH), you gain a 0.3% fee for your share in the pool every time a swap between ETH and DEGEN is made, plus a little extra in Liquidity Mining rewards for being part of the pool.

But let's say I throw in 1000 degen how do I calculate the return? There are lots of numbers on that faq. Math ain't my jam. I make pretty pictures 🤣
