God bless Austin, Texas. I've never sweated so much in my life—the heat out here is unreal, but so is the food.

Not going to find better smoked meat anywhere else.. if you're in Austin, check out Sam's BBQ on E 12th Street. It doesn't get any more authentic than that. If the owner's there, ask if he remembers the time he sold a Sam's BBQ shirt off his back to a customer. Tell him that guy sent you.
