Love the DAO criticism. I too am a DAO skeptic as a side-effect of being a DAO enthusiast! Hopefully you read my short article on /cryptoart DAO after the chat. We intend to effectively be like a gallery. The DAO will benefit members by giving them a platform and letting them be curators. Updates coming!

having a healthy amount skepticism is a good thing :) curious, have you chatted with Thomas McLeod of Arkive? or listened to any of his recent commentary? Arkive started as a DAO that was also intended to be gallery, museum (although IRL component) and they moved away from that model.
