Working with the Manifold auction contracts is not totally straightforward to me and taking me too long to get a working version of this app. Switching over to using the reservoir SDK which provides listing and bidding and a LOT more. It should help me get this auction app working faster, plus provide tools for other marketplace functionality.

I work Mon-Wed evenings teaching swimming and lifeguarding. The rest of my week is development. Got about 4 hours until I work today, half of which will be working out, the other will be getting the basics of reservoir set up and working.

JFC... uh, maybe I wont use reservoir... Really trying to be careful about expenses. Wanting this to be sustainable.

seems like the Alchemy API is the best bang for the buck. Can get away with free tier for now, and the next level up is 1/10th the price of Reservoir and 1/5th of Moralis.

Yes exactly! Working on a front end now, but the auction contract is something I need a little help with. I was working with the manifold contracts, but not so confident about deploying my own copy of them.
