Back in '20-'21, I collected a lot of art from my peers, minted on the Rarible community contracts. Some folks feel bitter about artists abandoning NFTs, but I'm glad to have supported them and gotten something beautiful in my collection in the process. It was a point in time when the culture blossomed and people had fun. I often go back looking for cheap 2020 NFTs on the community contracts from no-name artists. To me, they are pieces of history. This piece is by VRTX_ONE, an awesome 3d artist who minted some great stuff but wasnt exactly in it fr the long haul. One of the coolest things I collected early on. And it has such a stupid name - "Dragon Ballz II" - just goes to show, talent and brand/marketing savviness do not always go hand in hand 😆
