An interesting piece of my onchain history as an artist is my ATH sale which I bought back and burned. This is LENS VAULT, a 1/1 "nested NFT" that I minted in 2021. I would periodically deposit new 1/1s & editions *into* the NFT. You could say this was my first subscription NFT, years before I launched my @hypersub /muse. It sold at quite a high price in 2021. In 2022 it was listed under 10% that price, contents and all so I eagerly bought it back. At that point, I had no intention to resell it. I eventually made the decision to eject all the art to my wallet and burn the nft rather than continue to use it. It was an emotional decision to burn it but it helped me let go of the past and move on to new things. This artwork is really important to me because it represents my persistence through successes and failures. https://etherscan.io/token/0x63174fa9680c674a5580f7d747832b2a2133ad8f?a=458

One contributing factor to burning the NFT was that this was pre-6551 which is the current standard for token-bound accounts. By the time I burned this NFT, it was unfortunately clear nobody was going to be maintaining a good UI for this protocol. I might like to try something like this again with erc6551 someday https://github.com/erc6551/reference
