i can only talk for the engagement pov: this was my last cast in /cryptoart , 2d ago and it got about ~24likes i would consider this below average - for me, a poor cast does ~15-20likes, average is about ~30-40likes, a good cast gets ~50-60 and an excellent one gets 60+! https://warpcast.com/nicolasdavis.eth/0x3830503c

I noticed when I looked at main yesterday there seemed to not be a lot curated, I scrolled back and was quickly at the day before. Might just be the weekend effect though with less casts overall?

Getting more than 1-2 likes is quite rare for me. I don’t feel like my work is that bad tbh so I don’t know of people just don’t like what I am throwing down or something else is happening

I have very low engagement compared to what it was few months ago, I have no feedback from curators or other artists, it don’t feel like a community more just like an other art channel but maybe it’s just my feeling of non PB holder

I think I go through 4 / 5 times browsing the recent feed and push any interesting photography casts into the main feed. But, I feel very less photography casts here. Hopefully, it will increase soon.

hi max, thank you for opening up this discussion. i remember casting a couple of times, which i understand is not enough to gauge, but got a few likes from people who already follow me. remember also minting the nft that was in the pinned cast at the time saying it will ensure that the casts go straight to the main feed. i did mint because i just assumed since i don't have a pb yet, maybe even the mods can't see my work. my work still didn't show up. thought i'd just drop my experience here. once again, thank you for this talk.

Thanks for opening up the conversation. I feel strongly about curation in general not just here, I think it adds quality to a channel. Importance is that it is from a wide field of curators ie different tastes/ disciplines.

I checking both - the "main" and the "recent" feeds, as well posting my content 2-3 artworks a day from various chains I release. I feel the engagement is good here in Cryptoart as well good place to exchange the news feeds of recent multi-chain artworks for everyone.

As a channel member, I have mixed feelings about the Main Feed. Sometimes I feel like there is a lack of engagement and interaction with posts, while other times I see great discussions and activity. Overall, I think there could be more effort put into fostering engagement and creating a sense of community within the channel. As a curator, I try to browse the Recent Feed regularly and curate things that I find interesting or relevant to the channel's theme. However, I have to admit that I don't always have the time to browse as frequently as I would like. I think as a team, we could all benefit from more consistent and thorough browsing and curating to improve the overall quality of the channel. Honest feedback is crucial for improving moderation and creating a better experience for all members. Thank you for starting this conversation.
