Well to me it’s gatekeeping. Not the mint to main, I think that’s a great idea, but the fact that it will be in a handful of people the decision to decide who gets to be seen and downvoted. That’s not very DAO to me. I already get no reactions from my posts on this channel, so for me it might be the last goodbye

Channels are inherently gatekept spaces, created/hosted by a person or group of people for a specific purpose

Its also just silly to call it gatekeeping. The main feed was already "censored" based on the warpcast algorithm. We're just "censoring" it based on a token plus a little curation. Recent feed remains uncensored.

yes I understand that, I call it gatekeeping because it will depend on a handful of people who gets to be on the main feed and who doesn’t get downvoted. In the end it always ends up being the friends of the council and those who had any beef with any of them can forget any kind of recognition.

I've come not to attach quite the same sentiment to the term 'gatekept' as I did when I first joined FC In other words, they're spaces where people who care enough about a topic to host a channel about it have a vested interest in ensuring that it stays focused on that topic Hopefully that doesn't involve censorship
