Collectors are willing to pay 3$ to mint your art but you only get 1$ from it

I’ve “sold” more than 1k pieces on Zora. 
People spent 3000$ but i didnt even earn half of it..

Isnt the blockchain supposed to get rid of the middle man..?

Hard to let go of the middleman when the alternative is building, deploying and maintaining your own solution. The fees are just the cost of business to provide that service to us.

They do already get the largest share, and if you mint the first edition yourself you get over half.

Mmm i agree platforms need to get a share too but i still believe artists should get the majority
