Not the first time @bankless has changed my perspective. The first killer app for blockchains will be financial markets. Transactions will be denominated in tokenized USD. USG will support this. Markets will be 24/7 and open source. Fees will be driven low. I can now articulate a use case!

To answer your question from the most recent @bankless pod, @rsa.eth , a big reason folks buy BTC ETFs is because they have significant sums in 401k accounts that do not have simple access to BTC self custody. I’d rather have them under my private keys, but that involves transferring my 401k to a self directed IRA

Great discussion of digital surveillance! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/bankless/id1499409058?i=1000627590584. The description of FinCen’s growth in data and capability is descriptive of intensives in bureaucracy generally. It is t bad, it just needs a (judicial?) gatekeeper.
