Anyone else having issues using web3 apps on Base lately because your browser wallets get 429s with writes on Base mainnet https://mainnet.base.org/ (I'm using Metamask) I can't even stake things with @aerodrome anymore, running into errors continuously @base @jessepollak

Yeah, I also think the public RPC rate limits are too strict. 8192 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

thanks for confirming it's strict, it was like this before you know whether they made it stricter in the recent weeks? the chain can do more and more transactions but like this that isn't going to be useful to the users only to bots/scripts

I don’t know exactly, but I feel like it’s become stricter recently. I just changed all my wallet RPCs to https://base-rpc.publicnode.com because it has more generous rate limits, but I’m afraid not many users know how to change RPC endpoints and might just think the app is broken.

Yeah it's become much stricter than before. I tried unlocking holdings via moxiescout and noticed the website is barely responsive now because it relied on the base public RPC to retrieve the on chain data. Get a private RPC from infura for dev and personal use. I have a list of the providers and limits somewhere, I will post it if I can find it.
