For the current /base-builds rounds, there seems to be a lot of confusion today about the surprising earnings of 0.003 ETH that some (or most) proven developers are earning. First, I want to emphasize that this isnโ€™t a complaint, what @base is doing is great and am grateful of everything we could earn last year. But I took some time to dig into the details, and here are my findings: Source: https://dune.com/queries/4527006 Round #1687 Data: Total Entries: 879 Above 59032 Points: 36 Exactly 59032 Points: 634 (This is the infamous 0.003 ETH earnings group) No Score: 65 Zero Score: 26 Duplicate Entries: 118 All 36 entries with scores above 59032 points share one thing in common: liked and/or recasted by mods

Don't invites also earn you extra referral points when your invitees earn points? I was liked by the mods like a week ago, but my reward was 0.003 yesterday. Today it jumped to 0.03 without having any new likes and I thought it is probably the referrals effect that pushed me up.

Could be indeed! Do you know there's more public info about the algo? All I can find is the current scores and the likes/recasts that earn(?) you points

Thereโ€™s not. Iโ€™ve tried asking a thousand times and no one responds. The mods in /base-builds donโ€™t pay attention to the channel anymore.

I only remember the phrase "channel invites earn you points" on the invite frame that was pinned to the channel. I have invited a few builders that are more popular than me and I guess their score has a positive impact on mine as well. I am pretty sure the likes by mods have an extra coefficient to the points as well.
