I am using getBulkOwners to fetch a casts 'tip interaction' addresses to be able to validate them against HAM tip transactions on Hamchain. When a transaction exists between two addresses of the exact tip amount close to the tips cast timestamp it is considered valid. 
Was also using it for the liquid hammer cast action before the verifyTip API endpoint was introduced.

Also using it in the ham stats frame now to display tn100x and ham holdings on both base and Hamchain in the frame. Got some complaints I was using the wrong wallet though. Any chance you will allow users to update the wallet attached to their fid in Hamchain?
