FIP: Reduce Storage Limits

@wazzymandias.eth's proposal is up for review. it reduces the # of casts, links and reactions per storage unit to help hubs scale.

not great especially for those of us who had already purchased additional units. if a reduction is to happen, can it be implemented only to future units from now and not on the ones that we’ve already paid for?

in a short span of time, i have already purchased 11 units and i keep running out on reactions

yesss, i wish we could opt for a specific portion of a storage upgrade, eg. in my case i would really just need more storage for reactions :/

Yeah agree. If I may ask, why do you want to keep all historical likes/recasts?

I don't think there is a lot of impact. Some scores that take all farcaster data from the hub might be affected but a project like @openrank could as well keep their own optimized archive of all data anyway regardless the storage limits.
A longer degen tipping season might mean impact to tips as tips given at the start of the season might disappear if users run out of storage (and if no snapshots are taken) But once you claimed the previous season tips all your tip messages can go.

Would be cool to maybe have a persistent storage where you can save your most special casts which then will not be affected by the FIFO cleanup mechanism

tbh idk what are the effects if i dont keep them 😅 will it affect my scores or something like that?
