No one can look at the moxie leaderboard today and say that it’s not diverse Users from all backgrounds and join dates are earning from casts and frames Airstack.xyz/leaderboard

While I agree with respect to diversity, I am disappointed that frame builders have been devalued by @airstack.eth. A few exceptions aside, frame builders are now very far down the leaderboard. Builders of many popular frames such as @nikolaii.eth, @degenfans, and @mvr are (currently) #171, #306, and #374 respectively. I appreciate that it can be challenging to find the right balance, it seems to me that things have gradually been moving in the wrong direction, it is becoming more of a popularity contest. Yes, it's true that the Leaderboard can feature users that do not have huge followings -- since it is a "today" leaderboard, usually the reason is a reaction or 2 from one of the king-makers, users with very large followings and very high Far Scores. In the past, I feel like SCV did a better job surfacing quality content and users. Whereas now it seems to favour popular users and those of their choosing. Which feels a lot like Twitter.

Maybe less earnings is for the better because the higher earnings on frames brought us wrapping frames and 100s of duplicates showing the same data. Great that everyone's building but overall UX didn't benefit I think Also not a fan of the latest 'follow me to use my frame trend' to push up far scores

Fair points about farming and other attempts to game the system. If reducing frame devs MOXIE earnings by 50-90% is the best solution, then I am agreeable. But I am optimistic that there are more equitable solutions to these issues…
