One thing I should know by now, but still struggle with is how to support fun projects and new experiments, without putting wallets at risk.

This is simple to solve theoretically (one wallet, one mint/app), but difficult practically (tracking assets / liquidity in each wallet) and behaviorally (I’m lazy)

Solutions?

Making multi wallet set ups normal is the main solution imo

When I do rando stuff I use my “wallet for doing rando things” and transfer to storage wallets things I want to keep safe

Don’t want to get drained? Don’t use a wallet containing things you don’t want to lose- apps need to make this normal and easy

I counter with an additional “yes - it’s a UX issue” lol.

I can imagine a slick UX making this trivial

Apps like Sound.xyz are a great example for having a “gift” feature at mint, where you can mint to any other wallet you want.

This doubles as a security feature so you can mint to your storage wallet.

This is a UX issue though, no? 

Take Farcaster. You've got a PFP and ENS NFTs, you want to use them. FC makes it pretty easy to setup. But now with frames you're presented with opportunities to mint constantly. Some of them somewhat sketchy. 

Can you expect users to switch wallets constantly just to engage?
