I think they’ve hosted over 50 events in Q1 2025, not just for retail, but quite a lot are founder/dev focused events.
The feedback I get is they offer robust support - tech guidance, business connections, pitch feedback (e.g., guests from abroad like Jupiter’s Meow), and strategy guidance.
They’re also driving cross-ecosystem talent migration (EVM to Solana), regional revitalization, and enterprise engagement, particularly in finance, with tailored workshops.
I think the majority of ecos focus on retail-focused influencer marketing, so Superteam’s long-term/localized approach really sets them apart. I think Base are coming into the Japanese market with this approach as well.
I don’t think a global/APAC team helping out has nearly the same results, so I think Sui could benefit from a similar structured framework.
Not just specific to Japan, I feel the Superteam model is working really well for other regions as well. 1 reply
