I don’t think it’s ideal for you to not be engaged with a book. I don’t mean a novel of leisure. A transformative one. There has to be an inflow of a form of knowledge at every phase in life… sadly, this ideology is fast becoming obsolete by a generation that doesn’t read.

Indeed, even now, the best way to deepen oneself is through books. Not just necessarily books that teach something directly. In literary masterpieces, there are lessons that can't be gained from anywhere else. I mean writers like Dostoevsky, Kafka, Hemingway, Faulkner, Romain Gary, Beckett, and many other life teachers.
