According to Wintermute's research, creditors of the FTX crypto exchange will be paid approximately $14-16 billion in cash in October/November 2024. There is a possibility that many will choose to reinvest these funds back into cryptocurrency. Previously, creditors had the opportunity to sell their FTX accounts in exchange for receiving a certain percentage of their account balance on the exchange. It is said that accounts with a total balance of about $3 billion were sold. The only question is, at what price levels will they be allowed to reinvest these funds back into the market? At the current near-bottom levels or at the highs?
