Strange topic, but are there any cool consumer medical devices for collecting personal metrics? Withings has a really nice suite of devices where you can export weight/temperature/blood pressure history to your doctor. Curious what else is out there... Does the Star Trek Tricorder exist yet?

Just curious, have you used the food tracking feature of Gyroscope? I've tried a lot of apps in the past and they never seem to be convenient / easy enough to maintain long term.

They do bulk uploads where you can snap a pic and upload later, or upload in the moment. Occasionally they’ll get something off but nothing major. For me, the outsourcing and reducing thought of it is what makes me more likely to use it
