i took 50+ technical interviews and always felt it was easy to figure that out based on how they approached the problem. those who were troublesome would make irrelevant, critical statements. some had too much of an ego. hitting char limit but basically i feel like just giving them a problem solve shows a lot.

I'd listen closely to how they describe situations in which a coworker may have fallen short on a project they were responsible for, missed KPI or whatever. Are they still supportive of the coworker, not trying to frame them poorly, willing and able to take responsibility for their own role in the failure?
