What's the best source for DAO treasury sizes / holdings? Ideally split by chain (i.e. what are the biggest DAO treasuries on Base, on OP Mainnet, on Zora, on Mode)? Alternatively, someone could build this. Some starting heuristic could be to grab the top multisigs by value held on each chain.

There’s some extensive work done on dune already that catches DAOs built through DAO creator tools (like Aragon which LIDO for example uses). There’s even a dao.balances spell, and some other amazing spells around governance that @ilemi built. I can take a look and update the spells.
