I wont miss anyting, I have a little confusion, will the total degen tips earned be able to be claimed on February 29, or only the total points will become $DEGEN to be claimed?

Yes correct. You need to accumulate these degen tokens which will be available to redeem(Claim) at 1:1 Ratio on Feb 29th.
