Crypto experience:
I remember the first time I got into Web3, there was this project called X (not gonna drop the real name 'cause some folks still ride hard for it 😅). It was everywhere—Twitter, Discord, YouTube… even my DMs were blowing up like, “You have to buy this, it’s gonna change your life!”
So yeah, I got totally caught up in the hype. Threw in all the money I had, even the rent I’d set aside (yep, not my proudest moment).
A week later? Boom. Project tanked. Turned out the team was fake and it was just a classic pump and dump.
That was the day I told myself, “Never again.” From then on, I made a rule: no matter how cool a project seems, I only put in a small slice of my funds. The rest goes into safer stuff or just sits in cash.
That habit’s honestly brought me a lot of peace. Like, if something crashes now, I don’t freak out. I just shrug it off—’cause it was only a small chunk anyway 😅
