Ads on Facebook and Instagram are promoting suppressors as “fuel filters” that can easily be turned into illegal suppressors. These ads are linked to a network of Facebook pages and online stores, selling these products without informing customers of the legal risks involved. Although Meta has removed some of these ads, similar ones continue to circulate. Federal agencies, like the ATF, have warned vendors that these items, despite their different labels, are still considered illegal suppressors under federal law.😶 📰 WIRED NEWS
