Has anyone looked at Blast since they launched their testnet? Unless I'm missing something, there's still no "native yield". Bridging to testnet just gives you an ETH balance and they make some hand-wavy assertions about "rebasing" with WETH. Anyone have more info? https://docs.blast.io/building/bridges/testnet

I have some ideas about how you could do this, but their implementation so far deviates from how I think it would have to work... so I'm hoping someone else can help me understand how deposits in native currency (ETH) could generate yield without off-chain processing. I'm pretty sure it can't, but want to be wrong.

OTOH, if your bridge deposits native to the L1 in a staking service and mints WETH to the L2, I can see how you could have an oracle project value updates for your WETH holdings. Maybe that's the intent and the testnet impl just doesn't do that yet?
