I don’t think that “awkward whites” are excluded from those spaces. I can’t break and have vibed at many a session.

This is also the Olympics, which is supposed to be the best of the best, so I’m not sure subjective feelings of worth really enter the equation. I didn’t see any divers that weren’t representative of world class talent in that competition 🤷🏻‍♂️

and what about the awkward whites that haven't been represented in any of those spaces thus far? they just have to perpetually sit out and never participate in anything like that?
