I'm looking to work soon so I don't want to push away a real job opportunity. So I kept conversing. The companies linkedin is broken so I was still on the hook as this may still be real.

I wanted to just send my CV via the official site. Their response is also semi true as I have been going to a lot of career fairs and sending directly is better. But I still have to be on guard... One mistake... That's all it takes... So I do more research...

Notice how he didn't respond when I told him I found him on LinkedIn? I didn't call him out yet as I don't want to unintentionally call someone a scammer After all it was the weekend, not everyone checks their messages every day... But once I got confirmation... I responded appropriately...
