If I had an obscene amount of crypto, I would distribute portions (ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of $ worth) into multiple wallets, print out the seed phrases with a QR code to instructions then leave them randomly around. Got so many ideas for how this could come to life as a business model too 🤯

99% of the claimable funds gifted to that wallet could be withheld until the finder takes certain onchain action to receive it... such as following the instructions to set up a brand new wallet and transferring the 1% to the new wallet. That also mitigates the concern that someone else might have saved the seed phrase.

I think providing just enough incentive for someone to take first steps is enough to get them past the barrier to entry and once they are in I suspect a reasonably high % will stick around. But through the onboarding process they would be made to feel part of a supportive culture where they can learn & earn more.
