Farcaster uses Farcaster ID (FID), which is a unique on-chain identity associated with a user’s wallet. Users can also link their username (such as @username ) and ENS (Ethereum Name Service) to facilitate identification. Interestingly, this system allows for identity verification without sacrificing complete anonymity, depending on user preference.
