I see. Do you know if Ponder uses a lot of CPU or Memory if there are millions of events being pooled every few seconds ?

You choose specifically what contracts and therefore what events to keep track of (if you want, store in DB) and that will change its cost to keep running for your purpose.

It seemed pretty cheap when I had it running on Railway, but nothing I was doing was for high optimization. Just tried to get stuff working, ya know?

Yeah. But, and I could be wrong about this:

It’s only expensive if you’re paying for hosting of the Ponder app and are paying for an ETH rpc provider (instead of using your own node).

Gotcha. Maybe for contracts that have millions of events might be a bit more expensive but can work just fine for smaller contracts 👌
