In todays tevm release building EVM contracts in JS became easier. defineCall will now accept human readable events and encode them automatically into the appropriate hex data for the EVM

We are still early but it's pretty much at that inflection point of becoming ready for prime time

I want to use Tevm more. I think I get stuck with coming up with use cases for it when using along with or in replace of viem. And Iβm trying to learn scripting with Solidity (foundry) because I can get a better understand of EVM. Maybe thatβs where Iβm wrong and Tevm shines? Your consistent examples and documentation make it very hard to not be intrigued to understand the power of tevm. π

Happy to chat about what you are building and where tevm can help either in this thread or in dms. Tevm is many modular tools alongside viem so which ones you would use and which ones you wouldn't need yet depends on use case
