The Wavalator, coded in a spreadsheet, is highly parameterized and incorporates random factors, creating unique images with each instance. I combine two generated images, selectively removing elements from one to create a partial image that can be offset from the base. This results in dynamic geometric interactions. For 2D presentations, the images layer into a complex piece. For 3D sculptures, I print the second image on acrylic, mounting it slightly away from the base image. The semi-transparency allows for fluid interaction as viewers change position.
