"Dark Places" is a psychological thriller about a girl named Libby Day, played by Charlize Theron, who witnessed the massacre of her family as a child. Now, years later, a group of amateurs working on unsolved crimes force her to relive that terrible night in order to find the truth. Based on a novel by Gillian Flynn (author of Gone Girl), the film was co-produced by Charlize Theron, who, in addition to starring in the film, also served as one of Hashem's producers. Although it received mediocre reviews, fans of the crime mystery genre enjoyed it immensely.
