"The Talented Mr. Ripley" is a psychological thriller set in the 1950s. Tom Ripley (Matt Damon) is a smart and clever young man with an uncanny knack for imitation and lying. When he gets a golden opportunity to experience the luxurious life of a rich boy named Dickie Greenleaf (Jude Law), he becomes so immersed in this new world that he begins to lose the line between truth and lies. Directed by Anthony Minghella, this film is adapted from the famous novel by Patricia Highsmith. In addition to Matt Damon and Jude Law, Cate Blanchett and Gwyneth Paltrow also appear in the film. Jude Law was nominated for an Oscar for his role in this film. It is definitely worth watching.
