about our slippers:  

yesterday we visited the stanislavsky house-museum. in his home theater, the opera ‘eugene onegin’ was premiered, and when i was 13 years old, i played my first recital in this hall.  

stanislavsky was a unique artist and teacher. we were told that he was so obsessed with his work that they had to put a bed in his office — he would wake up, grab a pen, and start working right from bed.
