I recently acquired this bag and I never would have expected what a paradigm shifting experience it would be 

This format of bag is absolute perfection. It is large enough to store a rain jacket or sweater, phone, wallet, small umbrella, camera … and a couple bottles of water

Yet it does not go on your back, you wear it crossbody or on the shoulder. So you don’t need to worry about someone stealing something and don’t need to take it off every time you put something away or want to get something 

And when it’s almost empty it weighs as good as nothing and doesn’t restrict your movement in any way unlike a backpack
